The Danvers High School football Falcons brought Swampscott High School's modest three-game winning streak to a screeching halt Friday night as the Blue never got untracked against a high-flying Danvers team. The Falcons rushed out to a 28-0 lead and cruised to a 35-7 win. Both teams now sport a 4-4 record. The Falcons next travel to Marblehead High School (8-1) on Friday night at 7 p.m. to face a Magicians team that suffered a tough 35-34 loss to Salem High School on Friday night. Swampscott hosts undefeated Northeastern Conference powerhouse Beverly High School, ranked 9th in Eastern Massachusetts, on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
