A pet store was robbed by a man who demanded money from a clerk on Tuesday night.
A pet store in Danvers Plaza was robbed on Tuesday night. The robbery was reported at 6:20 p.m. when a male between 40 and 50 years old entered the Pet Life store at 301 Newbury St. (Route 1) and came up behind the clerk, demanding that they give him money. The clerk handed over an unspecified amount of money and nobody was hurt, said Danvers Police Officer Eric Clarizia. As of late Tuesday night, there were no arrests in connection with the robbery. The robbery was classified as an unarmed robbery since no weapon was shown, although it was alluded that he may possibly have a weapon.
