Danvers Swamp Walk has been completed and the "Golden Spike" has gone in.
The Danvers Swamp Walk has been completed and the "Friends of Swampwalk" will host an inauguration ceremony in the spring. The group also plans to continue having ad-hoc fun by adding new features, interpretive signs, tables and benches. The walk is a loop through the swamp off the Danvers rail Trail on the north end, near Choate Farm. Take a look at some photos from the final work.
