Falcons' XC End Season at Franklin Park
With 19th and 10th place finishes respectively, the boys' and girls' cross-country teams from Danvers High saw their 2010 season come to an end at the Eastern Mass. Championships on Saturday.
It was a tough field in the Division IV races and the competition proved too skilled for the cross-country teams from Danvers High on Saturday. The boys finished the day in 19th place, while the girls managed 10th at the MIAA Eastern Mass. Championships at Franklin Park. Both teams failed to advance to the All-State meets on Nov. 20 in Gardner. Leading the way for the lady Falcons was junior Haley Dyer, who finished 23rd, just two places and nine seconds behind Hingham's Alyssa Lumbert, who earned the final Division IV individual bid to All-States.
