Reservations are now being accepted for North Shore Community College's Scholar's Den lunches now through May.
Students in North Shore Community College's Culinary Arts program will again start serving four-course, $5 lunches at the Scholar's Den Cafe starting next week. The cafe is located in Berry Hall on the Essex Agricultural High School Campus on Route 62 in Danvers. The student-prepared lunches include soup, salad, choice of entree and choice of dessert. Fresh baked goods are also available on the days the Scholar's Den Cafe is open. Lunch will be served Wednesdays and Thursdays from Feb. 27 through May 8. Students at the Essex Agricultural School have reported multiple cases of what is now unexplained hiccups from some students.
Health officials are still trying to determine the orgin of some mysterious hiccups in some students at Essex Agricultural and Technical High School, reports the Salem News and WBZ-TV. The condition involves about a dozen students with "mysterious vocal tics or hiccups," the news reports. Superintendent-Director Roger Bourgeois said as soon as school officials became aware of the condition they contacted local and state health officials, he told the News..
