Cafe Worker Doesn't Take Flim-Flam Scam, Chases Down Suspect

A worker at Daily Harvest Cafe stepped up when she thought she was getting scammed by a customer, chasing him down while allegedly getting assaulted.

When a customer at Daily Harvest Cafe kept switching out bills, one employee knew something wasn't right. The customers was allegedly trying to pull a "fast one" where he would get the employee to take bigger bills out of register. Eventually, George Lott, 68, of 39 Boylston St. in Boston was arrested and charged with larceny from a person, assault and battery, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. It all started at about 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday when the unnamed employee confronted Lott about his attempted scam. Lott kept changing bills and took back money that was not his, police said.
