Clouds: Monday will be a mostly cloudy day with a chance of rain in the afternoon. The wind will increase later in the day, up to 16 mile per hour gusts and temperatures getting into the mid-40s. 2. Passover: Monday marks the start of Passover, when Jews across the world come together to retell the Exodus story over four cups of wine (or grape juice for those who can't indulge), and a large, festive feast known as a Seder on the first two nights. Due to the expected winter storm on Tuesday, the state announced that the MCAS English Language Arts Composition test for students in grades 4, 7 and 10 has been postponed until Monday, March 25.
The MCAS English Language Arts Composition test for students in grades 4, 7 and 10 originally planned for Tuesday has been postponed until Monday, March 25, the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education announced Monday on its website. Danvers MCAS results in comparison to surrounding communities.
The Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) test results were released to the public last week. We've compiled two charts: the first showing the percent of students at each performance level for Danvers. The second chart shows how Danvers students did against some of the surrounding communities on the North Shore.
