Live Music This Weekend: Rock N' Roll Night For Erin

Here is a round up of live music happening this weekend around the North Shore.

This weekend is packed with live music on the North Shore and a whole bunch of bands playing a wide variety of music genres, from classic rock to blues and soul, can be seen for free at rock clubs and restaurants throughout the region.  The Great American Tavern in North Reading is hosting a benefit concert this weekend called Rock N' Roll Night for Erin. "The show will help to raise money for Erin Dawson, who has recently been diagnosed with Grade 4 Glioblastoma brain cancer (the most aggressive form of brain cancer). All the proceeds will help to defray the mounting medical costs that Erin has, and will continue to have. Live Music This Weekend: Leaving Eden and Joe Mack

Here is a round up of live music happening this weekend around the North Shore.

This weekend is packed with live music on the North Shore and a whole bunch of bands playing a wide variety of music genres, from classic rock to blues and soul, can be seen for free at rock clubs and restaurants throughout the region.  Local rock band Leaving Eden will be playing Rockafellas in Salem tonight. Leaving Eden has played on the national circuit with the likes of Black Sabbath, Korn and the Dropkick Murphys. Local guitarist Joe Mack will be playing with his band at the Red Rock Bistro in Swampscott. Mack, who has played internationally, derives his style from Jimi Hendrix , Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton. All shows begin at 9 p.m. unless specified.
