A man acting suspiciously near a Danvers bank on Thursday was tracked down in Lynnfield, where he was arrested for allegedly possessing heroin.
A man who was acting suspiciously around a Danvers Square bank on Thursday afternoon was arrested less than two hours later for allegedly possessing heroin. It started at about 4 p.m. when an alert employee at North Shore Bank on Elm Street saw a man looking in the bank windows. The man also came in to the bank and left without conducting any business, said Danvers Police Sgt. Robert Bettencourt. That prompted a call to police. The man was gobe when police arrived but police asked other police departments in the area to be on the lookout for the vehicle the man was driving, a Nissan Maxima.
