Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured on Route 62
The area of 170 Maple St. was closed during the morning commute as emergency crews treated a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle.
UPDATE, 9:30 a.m. - Route 62 has reopened, traffic still remains slow in the area. UPDATE, 8:38 a.m. — The medical helicopter has taken off with the victim, but traffic remains gridlocked in the area. Route 62 is closed between Locust Street and Burley Avenue. A State Police accident reconstruction team is at the scene. ~~~~~ The area around 170 Maple St. is closed as emergency crews work to help a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle.
