Scholarship Created In Memory of Danvers Teen Killed in Crash
A fundraiser will be held Friday night at Beverly's Italian Community Center for a scholarship created in memory of Dillon Renard.
The family of Dillon Renard, a teen from Danvers killed in an alleged drunk driving accident in Salem, will host a scholarship fundraiser in his honor at the Beverly Italian Community Center on Friday night. The fundraiser, 'Dream for Dillon' will benefit the teen's scholarship fund, which will be awarded to a 2012 Salem High School graduate who receives special education services. "Dillon's family has set up this scholarship fund in his memory so we can assist others fulfill a dream that Dillon never had a chance to see come true," the scholarship fund website said.
