Taco Bell was the town's most recent addition to the fast food options and another McDonalds is expected soon.
The fourth McDonalds restaurant in Danvers is nearing a grand opening on Endicott Street - the second new fast food restaurant on the road in the past year. It will be added to Taco Bell, which recently opened, plus Burger King and Wendy's. McDonalds is opening at the former site of the Crab House. And for a time there was a proposal to open a Margarita's restaurant on the property, but it was withdrawn. McDonalds is planning a late October or early November opening but an exact date is still in the works, according to McDonalds spokeswoman Courtney Mahoney. Fast food restaurants are often found together in many communities. But are there too many along Endicott Street? If so, what else would you prefer? Tell us in the comments.

Let us know - what changes could be made to improve the Liberty Tree Mall?
The Liberty Tree Mall always seems to be on the receiving end of feedback and suggestions - whether it wants it or not. And in the past week, on the mall's Facebook page, the mall itself asked what new stores its Facebook fans want to see? And the mall asked what else it can do to make shoppers visits great. Other said, simply, that they love the mall. So let us know - what improvements could the Liberty Tree Mall make? How often do you shop there? Why? Why do you go there? What changes or addition could they make to make you go there more often? Let us …

Should happy hour come back to Massachusetts?
Is happy hour coming back to the Bay State? The 28-year-old “happy hour law” now banning bars and restaurants from pouring free, discounted or two-for-one alcoholic beverages in area restaurants may be updated so restaurants can compete with casinos that may one day be in the state. As part of the ban, cities and towns now rule that a beverage must be priced the same for each calendar week and two drinks can only be served per person at a restaurant. In addition, pitchers of alcohol can only be served to two or more people, according to the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission. The ABCC will hold a hearing in Boston on Aug. 21. Four other hearings will be held throughout the state to gain public feedback. According to an article in the …

All of the major portions of the Route 128 reconstruction project are in use, so which portions are working and which portions would you have designed differently?
The Route 128 construction project, which has installed new ramps, traffic lights and made safety improvements at exits 22 and 23, is almost done. The changes have taken some getting used to. There's been a lot of discussion and feedback about how it has worked out. Most of us are not professional traffic engineers, but as drivers we all have our own opinion about what we think works and what does not. So tell us, now that you have seen the Route 128 project in action, what would you have done differently?
