Trader Joe's Recalls Frozen Chicken and Rice Meal

Trader Joe's has voluntarily recalled 240 cartons of a frozen chicken and rice meal due to possible listeria contamination.

Trader Joe's has voluntarily recalled a batch of one of its frozen chicken and rice meals from store shelves in 14 states, including Massachusetts, due to possible listeria contamination. This includes the nearby store in Peabody at 300 Andover St. (Route 114), just over the Danvers town line. There is also a store at 358 Broadway (Route 1 North) in Saugus. The grocer announced over the weekend it was alerted by its supplier that some Trader Joe's Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice meals may be affected. The products in question are: sku 99032 with a production date of "305 12" and come in 12.5-ounce packages.
