Danvers High Sophomore Wins Key Off and New Used Car

James English, a sophomore, won this year's key off and a certified pre-owned Honda Civic from Volvo Village as part of the Keys to Success program.

It took 50 tries and then some Thursday afternoon before James English got the lucky key and won his own certified pre-owned Honda Civic from Volvo Village in Danvers. The 16-year-old Danvers High sophomore, who doesn't actually have his license yet, was one of 50 students to participate in the annual Key Off to close out this year's Keys to Success program with Village Automotive Group. English said he was just excited to win and couldn't believe his luck. He said he received his KeyCard during the year for academic excellence. Village Automotive Group President Ray Ciccolo was on hand himself for this Key Off and noted his niece actually graduated from Danvers High a couple years ago and was similarly excited then to participate in the …

That's great for James but why didn't they give the car to that girl who obviously won it in the "first round"? A sixteen year old lost for not knowing how to operate a Honda?? Doesn't seem fair to me.   more ›

Keys to Success Will Leave Lucky Danvers High Student With a Car

The Keys to Success program, sponsored by Volvo Village of Danvers, focuses on student achievement. One lucky Danvers High student will win a certified pre-owned car from the dealership at the conclusion of the program.
