Snowy Saturday Expected

Danvers could receive up to two inches on Saturday.

  More seasonable weather has arrived and the National Weather Service is calling for snow up to two inches in Danvers on Saturday. The storm is expected to move in around 9 a.m. and exit around dinner time, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to top out around 27 degrees with winds North-North East at 5 to 10 mph. The Massachusetts State Police have released the following tips for driving safety in the snow. Of course, the storm will hit durring the day Saturday so maybe it will be a good day for most to stay in and read Danvers Patch.

Winter Weather On The Way For Danvers

Snow will begin falling around midnight Thursday and last into early Friday morning. More snow is expected on Saturday.

Danvers may finally be seeing some snow. The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Danvers beginning tonight with accumulations up to two inches. Widespread snow showers are likely, and roads will be slippery due to the recent cold temperatures. On Saturday, NWS predicted a moderate to high probability of snow, though the extent of accumulations are not known at this time since the storm track in not certain. Early estimates say up to three inches are possible. A wintry mix may also be possible.
