Dog, Police Hunt Burglar After North Street Break-in

A man broke into a Danvers home on Thursday while a resident was home.

Police scoured a Danvers neighborhood for a suspect in a midday home break-in on Thursday. It all started at about 12:30 p.m. when police received a call from a resident on North Street, near Calumet Road, reporting that someone was breaking in to her home. “The homeowner was home when someone tried to break-in,” said Danvers Police Capt. Patrick Ambrose. The homeowner was not injured. The suspect got away and police continued to investigate, as of Thursday afternoon. “We believe the suspect was able to get back to the vehicle,” Ambrose said. Ambrose said it was too early to say whether anything was taken. A grey Jeep with a handicapped placard was being sought in connection to the break-in. Man Accused of Attempted Home Break-In in North Reading Set Free on Bail

A Stoneham woman and a Danvers man that allegedly tried to break into a Marblehead Street home in North Reading Thursday were released from jail following their respective arraignments Friday in Woburn District Court.

A Danvers man accused of attempting to break into a North Reading home Thursday with the Stoneham woman allegedly at his side were both released from jail following their respective arraignments Friday in Woburn District Court, according to a spokewoman from Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone's Office. Paul Bradley, 28, of 62 Water St., Danvers, was released on $350 cash bail with conditions to stay away from the home, no drugs, and submit to random drug screens, according to Guyotte. Jessica Damico, 30, of 95 High St., Stoneham, was released on personal recognizance with conditions to stay away from the home, no drugs, and submit to random drug screens, according to spokeswoman Stephanie Guyotte.
