More Charges Possible Against Danvers Man in Child Pornography Case
Police say a 52-year-old Danvers man confessed to having about 30 images of naked young girls in explicit poses on his home computer.
It started as a simple attempt to login to her Facebook account, but the girl got an shocking surprise when she discovered images of nude children on her father's home computer. Michael R. Silva, 52, of 6 Toomey St., Danvers, is facing child pornography charges. He was arrested Monday at his home and arraigned on two counts of possession of pornographic images in Salem District Court on Tuesday. Police say Silva confessed to having about 30 images of naked young girls on his computer, reports the Salem News. He was ordered held on $10,000 cash bail and have no contact with children or the witnesses in the case.
