Driver in Head-On Crash to be Issued Summons
One of the drivers in Wednesday's serious car crash in Danvers will be issued a summons.
One of the driver’s involved in Wednesday afternoon’s head-on crash on Route 62 will be issued a summons for operating negligently. The crash happened at 3:55 p.m. in front of the Danvers Animal Hospital when a blue 1999 Toyota Rav 4 headed eastbound crossed the centerline and slammed head-on into a white 2012 Mercedes GLK350 that was headed westbound, according to Danvers Police Chief Neil Ouellette. Police did not release the name of the driver who was issued a summons – and was also injured – or anyone else involved in the crash. There were two people in the Toyota and one in the Mercedes and Ouellette said the injuries to all three were considered “fairly serious,” based on the observations of officers on the scene.
