Griffin Says 'It's My Fault, It's My Car'

Griffin was arraigned at Salem District Court on Monday.

Angelique Griffin, 25, of 30 Pleasant St. in Salem, pleaded not guilty to charges of vehicular homicide Monday at Salem District Court. Dillon Renard, 19-years-old, of Kirkbride Drive in Danvers, was killed instantly, when the PT Cruiser Griffin was driving crashed into a parked tow truck outside Allstar Collision Center on Boston Street in Salem. Griffin's cash bail was reduced from $50,000 to $10,000, according to the Boston Herald. If Griffin posts bail, she will be required to wear a GPS tracking device, and will be ordered to stay in her residence. The single mother of toddler twins, who is employed by the Golden Banana in Peabody, according to court records, admitted to first responders at the scene that she had been drinking prior …
