Cyrus Moulton, Neighbor

Cyrus Moulton grew up and is currently living in Marblehead.  He attended Glover School and Marblehead Middle School before heading to St. John’s Prep and then Tabor Academy. 

After graduating from Bowdoin College in 2004, he moved to Great Cranberry Island, Maine as a Fellow with the nonprofit Island Institute, tasked with helping the Town of Cranberry Isles write a comprehensive plan for its future.  He also began writing for the Institute’s newspaper and other publications, eventually becoming a staff writer and special-projects coordinator.   He graduated from Columbia University School of Journalism in 2009 with a focus on magazine writing, and then he returned to Massachusetts to become the founding editor of Wareham Week and WarehamVillageSoup.com. 

In addition to Marblehead Patch, Cyrus’ writing has appeared in Wareham Week, The Valley News, Discover Magazine, The Huffington Post, Island Journal, and the Working Waterfront News.
