Danvers Remembers September 11
The 12th anniversary was commemorated with a brief service outside New Brothers Restaurant & Deli on Maple Street.
A crowd of more than 70 paused Wednesday to reflect on the anniversary of the terror attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
Bruce Eaton, president of the Danvers Veterans Council, emceed the ceremony. It included an honor guard from American Legion Post 180 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2359. The Northshore Men sang the national anthem and "God Bless America."
