Discover Salem Village/Danvers Hysteria to Heroism:1692-1787 Tour
The Danvers Historical Society, the Danvers Alarm List and the Daughters of the American Revolution General Israel Putnam Chapter announce the Discover Salem Village/Danvers Hysteria to Heroism:1692-1787 Tour. Relive the Witchcraft Hysteria and the American Revolution through the eyes of Salem Village/Danvers residents by touring Witchcraft Hysteria victim Rebecca Nurse’s homestead, Revolutionary War Statesman Samuel Holten’s Home, and Revolutionary War Hero Jeremiah Page’s home. THIS MONTH 'S TOUR IS FRIDAY, JUNE 13TH, with properties open between 10AM to 3PM. THE TOURS CONTINUE ON THE 2ND FRIDAY OF THE MONTH through November 14, 2014. Tours start with an introductory presentation and exhibit at Tapley Hall next to the Page House. Tickets are $15 (Adult) and $9 (Children 15 and under)and allow one visit to each location.
