Enchanted Gardens Presented by the Danvers Garden Club
Ten beautiful gardens, some large, some small, await you on June 21 from 9AM to 3 PM in Danvers. Be prepared to take notes on the tour where you will learn what plants are suited for sun and shade. One of the gardens sits on the site of the original 1670's saltbox and was the home of Ann Putnam, one of the leaders in the witch hysteria. Two of the gardens are winners of the Pauline D. Bowden Award for Gardening Excellence. One garden has been entirely transplanted from New Jersey and is flourishing. You will see a zen garden, rock garden, raised gardening beds and much more. Tickets are $20 and $25 day of the tour. Tickets can be obtained by e-mailing DidoBear@aol.com. and at the Danvers Public Library June 16-19 from 6 PM to 9 PM.
