One Person Trapped After Vehicle Rolls Over in Front of Town Hall

At least two people were taken to the hospital Friday afternoon after a multi-car accident and rollover on Sylvan Street in front of Danvers Town Hall.

Police and fire crews responded to the scene around 2:40 p.m. to find one vehicle overturned with a person suspended and trapped inside.

According to scanner reports, that person was freed from the vehicle within a few minutes and taken to an area hospital. One other person was also reportedly taken to the hospital -- neither person's injuries appeared to be life-threatening.

Three vehicles were involved in the accident. Police requested two wreckers to the scene to remove vehicles.

The scene was cleared by 3 p.m.
