Monday Essentials: Planning Board to Talk Zoning for Pot Shops in Danvers

  1. The Affordable Housing Trust meets Monday night in the Town Manager's Conference Room in Town Hall (7 p.m.) for its regular session. On the agenda are a number of items, including a housing production plan and updates on several affordable housing projects -- Conifer Commons, 356 Andover St., 26 Mill St., 24 Cherry St. and Aria at Hathorne Hill.   2. Two more concerts are lined up for this week at the Rotary Pavilion -- Brad Ellenburg on Monday and The Bandit Kings on Wednesday. Concerts are 6-8 p.m.
  3. And speaking of the annual summer concert series, if you're planning to attend, bring some non-perishable food with you to donate to your local food pantry. Girl Scout Troop 63181 is collecting food this summer at the concert series for the Danvers People to People Food Pantry.   4. The Planning Board meets Tuesday night (7 p.m.) in the Toomey Room at Town Hall. Board members are scheduled to discuss options for zoning medical marijuana treatment centers in light of the town moratorium and Wadsworth Farm Lane LLC is seeking a reduction of its performance bond for completing site improvements at the housing development on Saratoga Lane.   5. North Shore Community College is holding a special open house Thursday (5 p.m.) for people interested in jumping into the healthcare, financial services or advanced manufacturing fields. NSCC runs a short-term certificate program called College2Career.
